 Baroda, Feb 21: One of Indian cricket’s most eligible bachelors, Irfan Pathan is single and ready to mingle. What happend to his longtime girlfriend Shivangi Dev? They parted ways for unknown reasons. Australia-resident Shivangi Dev and Irfan Pathan were dating for almost 10 years.
The left-handed cricketer began his relationship with the chartered accountant Shivangi Dev back in the early days of his career. Daughter of Virendra Dev, a diplomat attached to the Indian Embassy in Australia in 2007, the two first met at the Adelaide Oval in 2003 during a match.
It was reported that Irfan was invited by Shivangi's father for dinner during the tour. The chemistry between the two really worked.
The affair hit the spotlight after Irfan chose to stay back in Australia after the 2008 tour, apparently because he wanted to spend some quality time with Shivangi.
Irfan had always avoided the question over his marriage with Shivangi by citing that he will only get married after his brother.But, Irfan started avoiding Shivangi and also stopped meeting her after Yusuf Pathan engagement with Arfeen.
Recently in an interview, the Indian cricketer had disclosed that he was single and waiting for the right girl to get married. Irfan Pathan also revealed that he doesn’t want an arranged marriage like his brother.
The Indian cricketer was also linked with VJ Anusha Dandekar during the Indian Premier league season.The two were also spotted together at the prominent events and the parties.
