Story |
Balakrishna has tried to come out of his routine formula (faction movies) and wanted to try something new and different with this movie. As the expectations are very high director and producer to come up with such kind of movie. But they still couldnot succeed
The daughter of a big industrialist (Ranganath) is Madhavi (Priyamani). A local politician Munuswamy (Pradeep Rawat) wants an alliance with the industrialist, but the later refuses the proposal. Instead, he wants to marry Madhavi with another boy called Aditya (Balakrishna) who settled in Bangkok, who is the grandson of a landlord (Balayya). Incidentally, Madhavi falls in love with another boy Sridhar (Deepak), who is very kind at heart and always serves the poor, despite being a physically challenged person. But as per Madhavi’s horoscope, her husband would die within one month from the date of marriage.
So, Madhavi searches for a scapegoat, whom she can marry and leave him to his own fate of death within a month and then marry Sridhar. Madhavi comes across Aditya and traps him in the name of love and get herself married to him. Later, she makes an attempt to escape with the help of her uncle Jana Bethedu Janardhan @ JB Jan and Sridhar. But Aditya foils her plan and joins her to India. Aditya tries to impress Madhavi’s father but the latter did not accept him as his son-in-law. After the completion of 30 days, Aditya meets with an accident and almost on the deathbed. Then, Aditya’s lawyer reveals to Madhavi’s father that it was Aditya, whom he broached an alliance. Did Aditya faced the death? How he taught a lesson to the crooked politician and Sridhar? What is the relationship between Sridhar and Kesava Rao, the close friend of the industrialist? Did Aditya and Madhavi unite to lead a happy marital life? Answers to all these questions form part of the climax.

Performance |
Balakrishna’s performance is just normal as he did not get a chance to perform due to his weak characterization. His character was soft as compared to his other movies with not many punch dialogs. Of course, he appeared handsome in some scenes, but the close-up shots revealed that he is ageing. The choreography of a couple of songs is good and Balakrishna did some fast and stylish steps. The action scenes were too dramatic and cinematic. Especially the climax fight is beyond imagination. Priyamani is awesome and good-looking. With her beauties revealed with the wearing of a bikini in ‘Drona’, she ignored to hide her glamour and sizzled in revealing outfits in some dances.
She is fast in shaking her legs and altogether she is okay in her role. Other artistes including Ranganath, Pradeep Rawat and other did justice to their roles. After a long time, Chandramohan and young hero Deepak played negative roles. Comedy by Brahmanandam failed to tickle the funny bones while Krishna Bhagawan also failed to impress with his performance. It was the heroine’s buddy who gave a nice comedy for a major part of the movie.

Technical |
The production values of Vaishnavi Cinema banner are good. The producer spent a whole lot of money by shooting the film in foreign locales and with a huge starcast. Vijayendra Prasad, who gave stories for several successful films, failed to give an impressive story for Balakrishna.Music by Manisharma is not worth the name and it lacked neither melody nor a mass beat. Camera work by Balamurugan is good in parts. Action by Ram-Lakshman was average, while editing by Kola Bhaskar needed to be sharpened. Dialogues by M Ratnam are also good in parts only. Above all the unimpressive narration, haphazard screenplay and songs at improper timing made the film completely boring. The director thought he maintained the suspense well but he could not in real terms.
