Story bigins in Australia where hero Chandu ( Gopichand) falls in love with Maha Lakshmi and chases her. Mahalakshmi( Trisha) also reciprocates to his love proposal after initial resistance. As every thing in their love episode seems to be going well, Mahalakshmi aunt comes in and takes her back to India to get her married to her son.

Chandu returns to India for Mahalakshmai and found out that she is the daughter of Pasupathy ( Kota) who is a faction leader in Kadapa. Pasupathy is waging a war with another faction leader Sivaiah ( satya Raj)from neibhoring village.Chandu takes Pasupathy side and takes on Sivaiah and shocked to find out that Sivaiah is his estranged father.

Why Chandu doesn’t know about his father all these days? How Chandu managed to get Mahalakshmi with the rivalry between the two groups is the rest of the story.

Ali comedy is the highlight in the first half. Srinivas Reddy, Venumadhav provides some good comedy. Kota Srinivas Rao is routine and it is like a rehearsal. Satya Raj as a dignified faction leader gave a neat performance. Rest of the cast is okay.

Taman music is big draw back.Songs composition is poor and background score is average. Cinematography by Vetri is rich. Dialogues by newcomer Anil are good. Costumes are good. Production values are good.

Ali comedy and Trisha glamour are plus points for the movie while Gopichand role will not please his fans who wanted to see him as a macho action hero.
 
On the whole, it is a failed attempt by hero Gopichand  who tried to be look different and subdue his action hero image.
