Colonel Lakshmipati (Rao Ramesh) is a disciplined army retired person. Lakshmipati had a daughter called Kavya (Saranya Mohan), who completes her MBBS and practices as doctor in city. Meanwhile, Kavya befriends with Karthik (Krishnudu), who is a fatty, as she liked his attitude, mentality and good nature. Gradually she fell in love with him and strongly believes that he is a perfect match to her. But Kavya afraid to tell her love story to her father fearing rejection.
 
On learning that Lakshmipati is looking for a groom to her, Kavya decides to convince his father through the family and tells all the members of her family about Karthik. Everyone feel very happy and creates a good atmosphere to reveal about Karthik to Lakshmipati. At this juncture, Karthik lands in the village. The entire family becomes shell-shocked after watching the fat man and try to convince Kavya to avoid him as their pair would look odd. But Kavya is firm on her love somehow manage to convince the relatives.

Now the remaining story is all about convincing  Laksmipathy, who has a definite idea of her lovely daughter's ideal life-partner.

Saranya Mohan is the only disappointment in the film. She is the only odd personality in the film and is not a perfect match to Krishnudu. She is too childish to Krishnudu and her performance was completely diluted before other artistes

The characterisation of Rao Ramesh is well penned and he justified his role. Yandamuri Virendranath played a full-length role which was not established properly. Bharath Reddy as young military officer is OK.

Special mention has to be made about Manikanth Kadri's music. All the tunes are melodious and nice to listen. Background score is not up to the mark. Vanamali's lyrics are natural.  Dialogues by Ramana Salva and Adavi are good.

Cinematography by Rams is another highlight. He perfectly captured the Konseema  village atmosphere in right manner. 

On the whole, this film is wholesome entertainer for entire family.  The film will be a clear success in A and B class centers and may not appeal to mass audience.
