New Delhi, Feb 17: Last 4-5 days Nation is witnessing Union Cabinet Ministers daring EC to take action against them. First it was Minorities Minister Salman Khurshid who crossed his line referring to Muslim quota during election campaigning in UP. When EC complained against him to President even when Khurshid refused to heed to its orders, Salman tendered a mere apology and got away with it with EC choosing to close the chapter without any stern action. Emboldened by EC's meek posture, yesterday Union Steel Minister Beni Prasad Varma raked up the minority’s reservation issue once again and even dared EC to take action against him. He mocked EC that if it sends notice he will tender apology and get away with it.

Many analysts feel that the entire episode is scripted by Congress High Command with Sonia at helm fully aware that going in UP state assembly polls is getting tougher and tougher day by day and should do something to appease Muslims. Priyanka commenting on entire episode says these things do happen, taking it lightly. Many are left wondering why EC is shying away from action as any politicians who flout with code of conduct can be debarred from contesting elections according to Supreme Court Judgment.
