New Delhi, Feb 17: Car explosion in New Delhi targetting a staff of Israel Ambassy at once put India on International Terror Radar. Though India owning to its oil compulsions is not revealing the true investigations saying there was nothing to point involvement of any country, Israel atonce alleged the attack had the backing of is bitter foe Iran. Even its ally US today didnot rule out the possiblity of Iranian involvement. Though India may not be forthcoming and taking all steps so as not to antogonise its oil friend,Iran, investigations and arrest of Iranian persons across Gorgea and Thailand regarding failed attempts and blasts drive home the point that battle for west asian supremacy has arrived at Indian Capital City.
Our intelligent Home Minister P.Chidambaram except for praising the bomber for his technology and ingenuity, revealed nothing showcasing India's flawed foreign policy. Both Iran and Israel are our best allies but irony is both are sworn enemies. Whatever it may be if India don't oppose the attacks led by groups and the governments that are supporting them,then it loses the moral responsibility to ask the world to support its cause against Pakistan led terror groups. Iranian involvement may or may not be in the blast but for long one cannot forget the fact that Islamic countries rivalry with Israel and their continuous attacks on Israel citizens. India unlike Israel didnot blame Iran as many of the countries in Islamic union are its best allies. But what baffles all is India announcing that its importing of oil from Iran will never stop at this juncture.
Indian authorities may have thought of highlighting Iran of its support come what may be but in the processes it has definitely antogonised the west. While Iran didnot respond to India's overtures Israel and US are extremely angry with India. Iran's timing of unveiling its nuclear strength is also not going unnoticed. For the past six years it was not forthcoming but now with Russia and China supporting it, emboldened her. Russia becoming strong once again politically and militarily along with China are taking on the might of US and that was the reason why UN is unable to act on Syria where millions of innocents were massacred every day.
India with its dubious foreign policy is aleniating both Russia and US and with the threat of Chinese invasion across the corner, it cannot bank on any country's help. Israel was the only country which till now supported India's cause diplomatically and militarily but India's is aleniating its best friend in need.
