Story

Aadi Keshav (Shirish Saravanan) and Madhusudan (Sathya) are the children of middle class parents. Aadi works as  writer in Santosham magazine while Madhusudan is a first year engineering student. Madhusudan gets attracted to the hi fi life style of the Metro, Hyderabad city and aspires to lead a life like his friends who have costly bikes, mobiles etc.

Aadi and Madhusudan celebrate their parents wedding anniversary in a grand manner but tragedy strikes them when their mother was found murdered and gold missing from the house even as numerous chain snatching incidents increases scaring people of the Hyderabad city. To find out the connection between the chain snatching and murder of Aadi, Madhusudan's mother, watch Metro on silver screen.

Performance

Shirish Saravanan is OK in the lead role. Sathya however steals the show from him with his performance as his brother suffering from inferiority complex and getting attracted to the life style of the metro.

Bobby Simha as a head of the chain snatching gang did not look menacing. Had he looked so, it would have generated even more interest.

Others like Sendrayan, Nishanth, Rajkmar, Maya, Yogi Babu,Tulasi performed accordingly.

Technical

Background score of Johan elevated the film taking it to new level. A little more better BGM could have taken increased intensity. Cinematography of Uthaya Kumar gave good feel to the film increasing interest among movie lovers. Editing of Ramesh Bharathi is quite good and could have been better in the second half.

Director Anand Krishnan could have added few more twists and turns in the climax to make it more interesting. He could have highlighted the conflict between various characters even more powerful manner. Production values are good.

Analysis

Director Anand Krishnan do not waste even a single second and directly goes into the narration on a serious note. He established the emotions, bonding of a middle class family and how few youngsters coming from middle class family get affected by the life style of the thrills and frills of the Metro city.

Interval bang is interesting and second half continues in the same vein. Anand Krishnan's story, screenplay and direction is quite good. He could have however quickened the pace in the second half and also planned the climax in a different manner.

Final Talk

Metro shocks movie lovers.
