Gagan (Sai Srinivas), son of Chakravarthy (Sarath Kumar), an industrialist falls for Sweety (Rakul Preet Singh). She helps his brother (Nandu)'s love succeed and get married and during that time Chakravarthy asks his son to keep her happy all the time.
However their life takes shocking turn as Sweety becomes pawn in the corporate game of industrialist Ashwat Narayana Varma (Jagapathi Babu) and liqour king Arjun Pawar (Tarun Arora). To find out more about the twists and turns, watch Jaya Janaki Nayaka on silver screen.
Bellamkonda Srinivas worked hard and showed considerable improvement compared to his earlier films. He is breathtaking in performing breathtaking stunts. He also performed his dances and thrilled all with his dazzling dancing moves. However he should improve on his expressions as he failed to show right kind of expressions, showing with rigid face testing the patience of the viewers.
Rakul Preet Singh showed her acting talent. She looked beautiful and performed well in her role. Pragya Jaiswal oozed with glamour , while Catherine Tresa sizzled red hot in the special song.
Others like Sarath Kumar, Nandu, Jagapathi Babu, Tarun Arora, Vani Vishwanath performed according to their roles.
Devi Sri Prasad gave foot tapping tunes to attract masses. Masses will be dancing to his tunes. All the songs are well shot. However songs placement slowed the pace of the film. Background score took the film to another level.
Editing of Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao could have been better especially in the second half. Rishi Punjabi's cinematography beautified the film capturing the exotic locations across the world.
Boyapati could have included more twists and turns especially in the climax. Production values are grand.
Sai Srinivas' dances, stunts
Pragya Jaiswal's glamour
Catherine's special song
Foot tapping music
Srinivas' expressionless face.
Lack of comedy
Story, screenplay, direction
Lack of real twists and turns
Boyapati Srinu who is known for his mass action entertainers stuck to his strengths and came with out and out mass action romantic entertainer. Right from the start to finish, he included mass elements to pull them to theaters.
Seems he did not have any confidence on Sai Srinivas as he did not trouble him to show expressions. He did not even allow him to smile but made full use of his dances and stunts, in which he excelled.
Story moves on a predictable note but too many characters, diverted the attention of the viewers. First half is racy and ends with an interesting interval twist. Action and sentiment scenes increase in the second half before the film concluding with a routine climax.
Film missed many logics and Boyapati failed to establish the roles of the villains properly. He rushed the proceedings showing them going to any extent for power and prestige. However few dialogues like ' roddu pakkana bajjilu tinte, manavadu bratukutadu', ' rayilo devudini choose nuvvu, ssaati adadanilo chudalekapoyavu', 'neeu praname nenu pettinapudu paruvu ekkadundi' etc.
