Animation Engineer Chandu (Vishwaksen) longs to have a girl friend of his own after watching his friends have their own lovers. Despite his attempts,he fails to get one and this leaves him depressed and a dejected lot.

However much to his delight he gets a friends request on Face book from Swetha (Nityasree Reddy). While his friends asks him to be careful, much to everyone's surprise, Swetha meets Chandu. Love blossoms between them and Chandu starts taking leaves from his office to please the extremely possessive Swetha.

But he gets shock of his life when Swetha suddenly switches off her mobile and goes out of contact and he also gets reprimanded from his management for failing to meet the project deadline. To find out the mystery behind the love story, watch Vellipomake on silver screen.

Majority of the cast are new comers and they looked amateurish on screen. They need to hone their skills more to progress ahead in this profession.

Vishwaksen is ok in his role as a mild, timid, reserved but honest and caring lover. Nityasri is ok in her role. Swetha, Supraja, Dinesh Naidu and others played their roles accordingly.

There is nothing much to say about the technical team. Prashant R Vihari's music did not make any impact. There are very few songs and most of them do not register in the minds of the listeners. BGM is ok and is according to the situation. Cinematography is average.

Editing left lot to be desired as there are many drags in the film. Director Yakub Ali should have added few more twists and turns to make it more interesting. Production values are good.

Plus Points

Interesting plot

Youthful flavor

First half

Minus Points

Story, Screenplay, Direction

Star cast

Slow place

Dragged scenes

Lack of commercial elements

Listless narration

Debutante Yakub Ali planned to score a hit by coming with a youthful romantic entertainer. Though the narration is slow, film starts in a youthful manner with the hero longing to have a girl friend and romantic experience. Things get interesting as he comes into contact with a face book friend who is extremely possessive.

First half ends with little interest generated though story do not make any head away. Movie lovers however expects an interesting second half. However Yakub Ali ended up dragging the same scenes repeatedly. Viewers waited patiently for a surprise climax. But pre climax and climax disappoints even the desperate genex viewers who crave for romantic entertainers.

Overall Yakub Ali's lack of experience spoiled the interesting plot. He failed to generate interest with his story, screenplay and direction. To the top of it, the cast and crew too did not inspire any confidence, turning the film a non watcher and a non starter.
