Story

Anand falls for Meghana (Mehreen) after hearing her lecture on cleanliness. Their relationship reaches next level as Meghana's dad Ramaraju (Nassar) too gets impressed with Anand. However Anand gets a huge shock due to his excessive cleanliness, OCD weakness. To find out more about it, enjoy Mahanubhavudu on silver screen.

Performance

Sharwanand slipped into the role as a youngster with OCD weakness. He tried new look sporting a beard and attracted with his body language and mannerisms. His comedy timing is impressive and showed variations in expressions emoting well in sentiment scenes.

Mehreen Kaur attracted with her looks and expressions. Her glamour is a treat to movie lovers. Nassar attracted as the father of heroine in the trademark role. Vennela Kishore attracted with his comedy. Others like Bhadram, Raghu Babu, Kalyani Natarajan performed accordingly.

Technical

Thaman's music is average. All the songs are well shot. Background score is good. Nizar Shafi beautified the film with his cinematography. Editing of Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao could have been better in the second half.

Maruthi should have worked on the story and script for better results. Production values are good.

Analysis

Maruti who changed track and scored a hit with Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, continued in the same trend. He showed hero despite having weakness, goes to any extent and overcome it and win his love. Maruthi highlighting the OCD qualities, entertained movie lovers throughout the film.

However except for the OCD, the film's story lacked novelty. Lack of real twists and turns sometimes tested the patience of the movie lovers. First half ends smoothly in a entertaining manner and with good interval bang. Second half too continues in the same vein but interest decreases as one gets a feeling that the film is going nowhere except for OCD scenes. The entire village scenes and others reminded of many old films.

Climax looked routine and weak. But overall Maruti managed to attract viewers embedding situational comedy in OCD.

Final Talk

Mahanubhavudu's OCD attracts movie lovers.
