Army Officer Surya (Allu Arjun) is on the verge of suspension as his superior often receives complaints against him over his uncontrollable rage. He gets one last chance and he was asked to get a certificate about his personality from renowned psychology professor Rama Krishna Raju (Arjun Sarja).

Surya reaches Visakhapatnam from Dehradun and to find out more about the twists and turns in soldier Surya's life, his love affair with Varsha (Anu Emmanuel) and how he manages his anger to achieve his mission dealing with the baddies, watch Naa Peru Surya on silver screen.

Allu Arjun attracted with his powerful performance as a army officer. He attracted with his looks and made different style statement to steal the hearts of all. As usual he enacted breathtaking stunts and sensational dance movements to drive everyone crazy. He surprises all with his dialogue delivery, powerful expressions and emotions to spellbound all. He attracted all with his body language and screen presence.

Anu Emmanuel got limited role and she attracted with her performance. She oozed with glamour in the songs and few scenes mesmerizing all. Arjun Sarja carried his role with ease as a professor. Sarath Kumar made his presence felt in a powerful role and Sai Kumar too attracted with his performance.

Others like Nadia,Boman Irani,Vennela Kishore, Pradeep Rawat,Rao Ramesh, Thakur Anoop Singh, Posani Krishna Murali performed their roles accordingly.

Rajeev Ravi's cinematography elevated the scenes beautifying the film taking it to another level. He captured the scenic locations in realistic manner. Vishal-Sekhar came with foot tapping beats to delight the masses. All the songs are well shot in an appealing manner. However placement of the songs slowed the tempo of the film. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao's editing left many drags throughout the film. Had he done away with them, the impact would have been even better.

Dialogues at times are good but most of the time turned out to be average. Stunts and songs are choreographed in a attractive manner. Director Vakkantham Vamsi could have added few more twists and turns which would have made the narration even more interesting. Production values are good.

Plus Points

Allu Arjun's overall performance

Anu Emmanuel's glamour treat

Music, BGM

Minus Points

Story, Screenplay, Direction

Songs placement

Illogical scenes

Routine narration

Predictable plot

Vakkantham Vamsi came with a mass action entertainer with army backdrop. This generated tremendous interest and he started off on a interesting note showing Allu Arjun as army officer and his uncontrollable anger and how he lands in trouble with his superiors in Dehradun.

But the moment the story shifts from Allu Arjun's profession after the title song and comes to his personal life, love affair, it turns out to be extremely routine. It is a different aspect altogether that Army itself asks Surya to get the certificate from a psychologist knowing their connection.

First half sails through with the action packed scene leading to an interesting interval block. Within minutes of the start of the film, Army backdrop takes a backseat and the entire story turns out to be extremely routine with emotional, preachy scenes testing the patience of the viewers in the second half. Climax too is not convincing turning the entire fair into an average affair.

Vakkantham Vamsi came with an interesting plot but failed in his story, screenplay, direction and execution. Had he struck to anger management and not deviated from the army backdrop, it would have been more interesting. Vamsi in order to impress everyone, forced many scenes thus missing out logic's.

Final Talk

Allu Arjun shows his power as a Army Officer.
