Shankar(Shakalaka Shankar) who aspires to become a cop, in the meantime fights against the atrocities of his village Ankalammapalle's president (Ajay Ghosh). He along with the inspector tries to take revenge on Shankar and they wait for a chance. The inspector arrests Shankar when he murders President's son who molests and kills his sister.
To find out how Shankar fights against the evil designs of the president and win over the love of his maradalu Parvathi(Karunya Chowdhary) and solve the problems of his village people, watch Shambho Shankara on silver screen.
Shakalaka Shankar tried his best to entertain all sections of people on his debut as hero. He strove hard and enacted daring stunts, dances and mouthed powerful dialogues, romanced with a beautiful heroine, to attract movie lovers, especially masses. However in his quest for stardom, Shankar forget his strength and that is comedy.
Karunya Chowdhary got limited role as heroine. She indulged in beauty treat in her short presence. Ajay Ghosh is routine as a villain. His dialogues are loud. Nagineedu and Ravi Prakash performed according to their roles.
Sai Karthik's music is below average. None of the songs are attractive. All his mass beats are routine and reminded the tunes of hit songs of Pawan Kalyan or Rajinikanth's films. Some of the songs acted as speed breakers. His background score is loud and routine.
Editing of Chota K Prasad could have been better as there are many drags in the film. Infact had he edited the film, there wouldn't have been a single scene worth watching. Cinematography of Rajasekhar is nothing much to talk about.
Director Sreedhar should have worked on the story and script before proceeding ahead as the entire story lacked novelty and real twists and turns to generate interest among movie lovers. Production values are good.
Story, Screenplay, Direction
Lack of twists and turns
Director Sreedhar dared to elevate popular comedian Shakalaka Shankar's heroism and silver screen and establish him as a hero. However it is a known fact that very few comedians tasted success as heroes. Sreedhar for all his good intention, failed to come with a novel story. He came with an extremely routine village drama.
Right from the start to finish, the film progresses listlessly with many illogical scenes. Sreedhar tried to elevate Shankar's heroism using Pawan Kalyan's mannerisms and the pink towel and by showing the posters of Pawan Kalyan. All these instead of attracting the movie lovers, ended up testing their patience.
Director failed with his story, screenplay and direction and the artificial emotions increased the anger among the viewers.
Shambho Shankara scares away movie lovers.
