Life of Raj (Raj Tarun), a customized bike maker in Anantapur, who aspires to go to Bangkok, undergoes a drastic change when he meets a beautiful nurse Charita (Riddi Kumar).

As love blossoms between Raj and Malayalee nurse Charita, they will receive shocks when she saves a small girl patient.

To find out the drastic changes and what is the small girl’s connection to their love journey, enjoy Lover on silver screen.

Raj Tarun slipped into the role tailor made for him. However he came with routine expressions and failed to make an impact with emotions. Except for sporting a pony tail, there is nothing new in his looks. He ended up testing the patience of the viewers with his spineless expressions. He  needs to improve upon his expressions and try something new to make even better impact.

Riddhi Kumar attracted with her cute looks on her debut. There is nothing much for her to do in the film. Rajeev Kanakala is OK in his role as Raj’s brother. Ajay, Sachin Khedekar had nothing much to do as villains.

Jayaprakash Reddy, ,Praveen,Satya, Viva Raghav failed to attract with their comedy. Others performed according to their roles.

Ankit Tiwari came with melodious tunes for the songs and couple of songs are good. Others however acted as speedbrakers. His background music is in sync with the story.

Sameer Reddy captured the beauty of Kerala and elevated the film to another level. Pravin Pudi’s editing left a lot to be desired. There are many drags in the film but one cannot find fault with him as the story has no interesting elements and had he done the editing, there wouldn’t have been any film to watch.

Anish Krishna should have worked on the story and the script before proceeding ahead with the project. Production values are good.

Plus Points

Couple of songs

Riddhi Kumar’s looks to some extent

Minus Points

Routine story

Listless and insipid narration

Screenplay, Direction

Lack of twists and turns

Anish Krishna tried to score a hit by elevating the lover boy image and heroics of Raj Tarun on screen with a romantic entertainer. Though the idea is good, he failed miserably as he came with a routine story. To the top of it, insipid narration, listless execution tested the patience of the movie lovers.

Right from the start to finish, there is not a single scene which increases the interest levels among movie lovers. Anish Krishna failed to get the best out of the star cast, be it the lead pair, supporting cast . The film lacked twists, emotions and infact everything.

Anish Krishna failed with his screenplay and direction and many wonder why Raj Tarun who is already reeling under the string of flops went ahead with the project.
