Vijay Govind (Vijay Devarakonda), lecturer at an Engineering College, dreams of a traditional girl who has the qualities of his mother. He gets attracted to Geetha (Rashmika Mandanna), a software engineer in TCS, Hyderabad.

However when he was about to woo her while travelling to Kakinada in a bus, things go horribly wrong.  Govind will be at his wits end as it could affect his sister’s marriage.

To find out more about these developments, enjoy Geeta Govindam on silver screen.

Vijay Devarakonda slipped into the role effortlessly. He performed the role of a confused youngster who lands in a problem. He attracted with his screen presence, energetic performance, expressions and showing the right kind of emotions.

Rashmika Mandanna attracted with her looks and complimented Vijay Devarakonda with her performance. She came with good expressions and emotions.

Anu Emmanuel and Nitya Menon attracted with their cameos. Vennela Kishore and Rahul Ramakrishna attracted with their situational comedy. Naga Babu, Subbaraju performed well and others like Annapoorna,Giri Babu performed according to their roles.

Gopi Sunder’s music is just ordinary. Except for couple of songs, others come and go without making any impression. However he elevated the scenes with his background score. Manikandan’s cinematography is attractive. He beautified the film capturing the scenic locations in an effective manner.

Editing of Marthand Venkatesh is good but could have been better as there are many drags in the film. Director Parasuram could have added few more twists and turns to increase the interest levels among the movie lovers. Production values are OK.

Plus Points

Vijay Devarakonda, Rashmika Mandanna

Rahul Ramakrishna, Vennela Kishore’s Comedy Scenes

Minus Points

Routine Story

Lack of Conflict Points

Slow Pace

Parasuram came with a simple romantic entertainer to attract movie lovers. He emerged successful to some extent with youthful scenes at the start and ending the first half on a interesting note.

The narration continues in the same vein with Parasuram trying to stress on the trivial conflict point. Though the conflict point created interest in the beginning, with the director not continuing to beat around the bush, the narration dragged and the viewers patience got tested. As the story dragged towards the climax, Vennela Kishore’s comedy came as a relief to the impatient viewers. The film ended on a routine note with no interesting twists and turns.

Despite the redundant story and weak script, Parasuram attracted to some extent with youthful elements, hilarious scenes and hero, heroine chemistry. His screenplay and direction is OK to some extent. Had he worked on the routine story and script, the result could have been better.

The film which turned out to be an average entertainer attracts youngsters and genex movie lovers to some extent and others may find it hard to digest. However with no other competition, there are high chances for the film to make it good at the box office.

Final Talk

Geeta Govindam attracts to some extent.
