Story

During that time she finds a diary of Paper Boy Ravi (Santosh Sobhan) and his stunning developments in his love life with Dharani (Riya Suman), daughter of Professor Gadwal Reddy in Sainikpur, Hyderabad.

To find out where this leads to, the developments in Ravi and Dharani's love story and how Mega is connected to it, enjoy Paper Boy on silver screen.

Performance

Santosh Sobhan attracted with his performance on debut. He carried himself well as a lover boy and in emotional scenes. However a little bit of fine tuning is needed in his dialogue delivery and expressions.

Riya Suman attracted with her performance and is ok in her looks. Tanya Hope is good in her limited role. Comedy of Annapurna, Vidyullekha attracted to some extent but the comedy of Bittiri Sathi acted as a speed breaker testing the patience of the viewers.

Others like Posani Krishna Murali,Nagineedu performed according to their roles.

Technical

Bheems attracted with his music. All the songs are well shot and are melodious. Suresh Bobbili's background score elevated the scenes while Cinematography of Soundarrajan captured the natural locations beautifying the film in an attractive and appealing manner.

Editing of Tammiraju could have been better as there are many drags in the film. Director Jaya Shankar should have worked on the story and the script and included some interesting twists and entertaining elements for better results. Production values are good.

Analysis

Director Jaya Shankar tried to attract movie lovers with a emotional romantic entertainer. He starts of on an interesting note but within minutes he drags the film with routine narration.

He failed go generate interest with routine story, uninteresting screenplay and direction, except for the few scenes. Had he continued in the same vein as he started the narration, it would have attracted movie lovers with the novelty.

However in order to attract masses, he included forced comedy to test the patience of the movie lovers. Illogical scenes in between after few good dialogues, irritated the viewers. Preachy dialogues on marriage, love and financial status ended up giving immense torture to the movie lovers. Over all, the film for all its promise faltered in the end.

Final Talk

Paper Boy turns out to be Torture Boy.
