Story

Sanju (Ram) who lives in Kakinada along with his parents reluctantly goes to Hyderabad to work as a software engineer. During  his journey he teases Anu (Anupama Parameswaran), an engineering student, only to realize that she happens to be his father's friend Viswanath(Prakash Raj) 's daughter.

After initial opposition he starts liking her but by that time, her dad gets her engaged to his friend's son. To find out more about the romantic developments enjoy Hello Guru Prema Kosame on screen.

Performance

Ram slipped into the role effortlessly. He did not get any scope to take his acting to another level. He did well as a youngster in love with family, beautiful girl and sacrificing his love. He emoted well in sentiment scenes and is in his elements in hilarious and romantic scenes. However dance movements looked odd.

Anupama Parameswaran looked gorgeous and performed her role well. However she did not get much scope to perform. Prakash Raj attracted with his screen presence. He attracted with his expression, emotions and screen presence. The scenes between Prakash Raj and Ram are the highlight in the film.

Praneetha attracted with her looks. Others like Mahesh Achanta, Sitara, V.Jayaprakash, Posani Krishna Murali, Satya, Suresh, Ram Prasad performed accordingly.

Technical

Devi Sri Prasad failed to make an impression with his songs. None of the songs are appealing and couple of songs acted as speed breakers. His BGM is loud and irritated.

Cinematography of Vijay Chakravarthy beautified the film. Editing of Karthika Srinivas left a lot to be desired. Many drags slowed the pace of the film testing the patience of the viewers.

Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina could have added few more twists and turns and also balanced the emotional and entertainment content for better impact. Production values are good.

Analysis

Trinadha Rao Nakkina planned to score a hit highlighting the father-daughter relation, youthful elements and love in this story. However in his quest to highlight them, he came with a routine narration. He tried to make it up by balancing entertainment and sentiment.

However this dragged the pace of the film as the narration turned routine and screenplay and direction went awry. With no real twists and turns, the story just passed through the motions.

All the scenes remind viewers of one or the other previous hit films and this in turn tested the patience of the viewers. Routine comedy, romantic and sentiment scenes and dialogues ended up disappointing movie lovers giving them immense torture.

Final Talk

Hello Guru Prema Kosame lacks real kick.
