To find out more about it and what Gautam Veer (Jagapathi Babu) got to do with it, watch Viswasam on silver screen.
Ajith attracted with his powerful performance. His looks may not appeal to multiplex viewers but attracts B, C centres. He attracted with his expressions and emotions.
Nayanatara looked beautiful and attracted with her screen presence.
Jagapathi Babu performed in a role tailor made for him. Others performed according to their roles.
Imman's tunes are foot tapping and has full of mass flavor. Background score is good but at times loud. At times it made good impact on movie lovers. Cinematography of Vetri captured the scenic locations of rural atmosphere in a natural manner.
Rubens editing could have been far better as there are many drags in the film. Director Shiva could have added few more twists and turns and done away with the drags to for better result. Production values are good.
Lot of drags
Siva came with a powerful mass entertainer to attract movie lovers. He starts off in an interesting manner and the first half goes on smoothly though at times tests the patience of the viewers with Tamil flavor. However the story, screenplay and direction turned out to be routine and with many unnecessary scenes resulted in lot of drags.
Siva came with a story which is high on emotions and family bonding. However he went overboard at times testing the patience of the viewers. The chemistry between Ajith and Nayanatara attracts all but the conflict between Ajith and Jagapathi Babu is not elevated as expected.
B, C movie lovers may get attracted to some extent but multiplex movie lovers will find it difficult to connect to this routine mass entertainer.
Viswasam Tamil flavor results in boredom.
