Hyderabad: AP Municipal Minister Narayana's son Nishith Narayana along with his friend Ravichandra Varma both died when their overspeeding car, a Mercedes Benz SUV came and hit a metro pillar on Road No 36 of Jubilee Hills.
It is already known that the SUV is one of the most advanced by Mercedes and has all security systems tested and proven in place. Yet they failed to secure two lives. It was learnt that the car must have hit the pillar at a speed of 200 to 220 kmph.
The car was reduced to a pile of metal waste and it is learnt that Narayana wanted to have the 2.5 crore car restored to have it as his son's remembrance. For this reason or so the company summoned team of experts from Germany who came in to inspect the car and how the SUV failed to save even after air bags deployed. They are going to visit the service station at Boyanpally to inspect and submit their report to the company!
At least if their report can help future riders it will be a good attempt!
