Amaravati: On one hand we have Chief Minister Chandrababu touring South Korea to attract the investors there and on the other we have HC admonishing the AP government for not providing congenial atmosphere for investments in the state.
HC in fact remarked that the administrative condition in AP is pathetic. It stated that the cases coming to the court reflect the situation in the state and opined that the state is in chaos.
Court even questioned CM as to why government is blind eyed to the existing companies and industries in the state.
When government allots land to a particular industry Court said that it is the responsibility of the government to see changes are made accordingly in the revenue records and also follow up with the industry in question. Instead AP government is acquiring land from the industries after learning they have not set up the industry for which land has been allotted.
Court opined that if this situation continues the state will be in dire straits and no one will evince interest to invest here.
Court ordered government to give land it acquired to the same company for setting up industry. To that effect justice MS Ramachandra Rao passed interim orders!
