Amaravati: Chandrababu Naidu was so quick and gave no clues about the kapus reservation bill in the assembly before he did so. This may have got the attention of people to the issue but there is a feeling of doubt among people if this will really materialize to actions or quashed by Centre.
However, its indeed a very smart move. Centre is now in a fix to take on this. It won't take up the bill for amendments. This is a success for Naidu. He can throw the blame on centre while his agenda remains successful.
Then if centre takes it up and quashes the bill it will still be good for Naidu and if not it would dent BJP's image further.
Now here is the best thing Babu got with the move. He could successfully divert people's attention from YS Jagan's padayatra as well as the Polavaram project mistakes by his government!
In fact BC leader Krishnaiah too who threw out his tongue loose at the AP government for such a bill calmed down later. He must have realized that the reservations bill is a hum-buck to silence kapus voices. Who can beat our CM's brain?
