Amaravati: Revolutionary fights, rights for the people, status fights should inspire not only the people fighting for the same but also highlight the just cause of the protestors in the eyes of everyone rather than turn it into a mockery and laughing stock.
TDP MPs for long have been protesting in Delhi all during the parliament sessions displaying placards highlighting the need for
special status to Andhra Pradesh. In all those protests Chittoor MP Siva Prasad attracts the attention of all with his antics.
Siva Prasad donned the various get ups of celebrities suited for his physique and attracted the attention of all. Siva Prasad being an actor with 30 years’ experience in Tollywood before entering politics, is fighting for special status in his own way.
But many say though his idea is right, the path he chose is wrong. They say many from across the country and MPs from various states enter parliament and during that time, they are getting an impression that some stage show or fashion show is going on seeing Siva Prasad's get ups each day.
Analysts feel this is making special status fight into a mockery. They point out that TDP MPs should draw inspiration on how TRS chief KCR and farmers of Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra showed their power with their protests. Instead of that many say TDP MPs are becoming jokers in the eyes of others coming in different getups. People of AP are asking them even if they don't fight for special status it is OK but requesting them not to make AP special status fight a laughing stock.
