Amaravati: Power Star Pawan Kalyan Jana Sena chief may get shock from the Election Commission. It is known that during elections , each candidate contesting for the assembly is allowed to spend a maximum of Rs 28 lakh and those contesting for the Loksabha is allowed to spend a maximum of Rs 80 lakhs. However many candidates cutting across party lines confess in private that they spend a minimum of Rs 10crs and Rs 50crs respectively for the assembly and parliament elections.
Recently concluded elections in AP witnessed money spent like water and candidates distributing cash, liqour, sarees, silver, gold coins, two wheelers, sports kits, grinders etc.
EC is, however, getting shocked while seeing the fudged expenses in the statements submitted by the candidates. EC got a huge shock on seeing the statement of Pawan Kalyan who claimed he spent just Rs 8lakhs during his contest. It is known that Pawan contested from two constituencies Gajuwaka and Bheemavaram.
Buzz is Election Commission's surveillance teams found that Pwan deflated the amount drastically and it was more than three times what he had submitted in the statement and so Pawan will get a notice from the election commission.
