Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma who is known for sensational and controversial films announced a film on legendary actor, former AP CM NTR. The film is crazily titled Lakshmi's NTR and RGV made clear that the film will be narrated from the views of NTR's second wife Lakshmi Parvathi.
RGV speaking to scribes announced that there is no agenda behind NTR movie. However many are wondering how can anyone believe RGV's words as RGV is known to flirt with controversies. It is known that when Natasimha Balakrishna announced biopic on his dad NTR, RGV claimed that he will be directing the entertainer.
However when Balakrishna stated that he is yet to decide on the director, RGV quickly announced Lakshmi's NTR. Many suspected that RGV is creating controversies. Lakshmi's NTR is directed by Rakesh Reddy a businessman and YSRCP coordinator in Palamaneru.
RGV however said “There is no hidden political agenda behind the movie. I didn’t even know that Rakesh Reddy was into politics. I came to know about it very recently. As I said earlier, changes in the state and important incidents in NTR’s life began occurring after the entry of Lakshmi Parvathi. NTR’s life is like Mahabharata, with many chapters, but I found the chapter that begins with Lakshmi's entry to be the most interesting.”
Already he started getting threat calls from various quarters but he said that he is not scared of anyone and none can stop him from making the film. He added "The movie will go to sets from next February, and it will be released by October next year. Someone asked me if the movie is being released in October as the elections will be close, but it’s not like that. I am not related to any political party"
