Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda has become a most bankable actor for Tollywood directors. On the one side, Deverakonda is basking in the success of his latest offering Geetha Govindam which has become a huge money spinner at the box office. The film has reaped profits for filmmakers.
If reports doing the rounds are anything to go by, Vijay Deverakonda will be seen essaying the role of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy founder and chief of YSR congress party in the YSR biopic, Yatra. Earlier, there were rumors that Kollywood actor Karthi would play YS Jagan's role in Yatra. We are not sure why Karthi didn't make the cut. However, an official confirmation about Deverakonda being onboard is awaited.
Yatra is a biopic of late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Mollywood actor Mammootty is reprising YSR's role. Yatra biopic is set for grand release on account of his son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's birthday which falls on December 21.
Meanwhile, Deverakonda is waiting for the release of NOTA where he will be seen playing a Chief Minister in the film. It is a political thriller and also features Nassar and Sathya Raj in key roles. Just a while back, the makers of NOTA released a trailer without any dialogues which has garnered views on digital media platforms and loved by all section of audiences.
