MAA silences scribes - does a cover up

Tollywood got a huge shock when Maa President Shivaji Raja and General Seceratary Naresh traded charges against each other over the misuse of funds in the event organized by the association in US which featured Mega Star Chiranjeevi as a chief guest.

Now in a shocker MAA silenced scribes in the press meet and many wondered about the cover up.

Tammareddy Bharadwaj who brokered peace between MAA President Sivaji Raja and Secretary Naresh said both will work together. However when the scribes tried to question about the allegations, he refused to take any questions and infact threatened to walkout. When asked how they will work together, he questioned do they want them thrash each other and said " “Both of them will sort out those problems.”"

D.Suresh Babu then said  “Though there are several associations and bodies within the film industry, we formed a Telugu film industry collective body,” he stated, adding, “So many statements are being made, that’s why we formed this new body to solve all the issues. We went into the details of the MAA issue and came to the conclusion that there are no financial irregularities.” He added “There was a third party involved but MAA did not incur any losses because of it,”

Naresh said “The elders from the industry came together to discuss the issue and they also gave a solution to go forward. This is the silver jubilee year of MAA, so we want to make it a big success,”
