Sandalwood seductress Sanjanna couple of weeks back made sensational allegations on her debut film Ganda Hendathi director.
Drawing inspiration from MeToo movement started by Tanushree Dutta, Sanjana accused the director Ravi Srivatsa of harassing her by forcing her to do numerous kissing and intimate scenes repeatedly going back on their promise that there was only one kissing scene at the start of the film.
She also accused the director of threatening her with dire consequences. Ravi Srivatsa lodged complaint against Sanjana to the Karnataka Film Chamber and Directors Association ,following which Ambareesh, Rockline Venkatesh and Roopa Iyer tried to settle the issue amicably.
Now after a meeting at Ambareesh's residence, Sanjana backtracked doing a U turn and apologised to Srivatsa. She said she only revealed the incidents that happened in the sets of her debut film and she had no intentions of hurting anyone. She said she apologises to Ravi Srivatsa if her statements hurt him.
Many say Sanjana was forced to apologise as the Kannada film industry planned to ban her if she donot withdraw her comments and apologise publicly.
