MODI EFFECT: CEOs caught in sanitizer row
Hyderabad: Two Chief Executive Officers of IT titans seem to be caught in a ‘washing hands’ row after their meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Silicon Valley recently.

A video has gone viral showing Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella wiping his hands off after shaking hands with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The video evoked sharp reactions with some calling it an 'insult' while others supported him by stating that it could just be 'a habit'. One thing is sure Nadella will be cursing the video for putting him in a bad light.

On other hand the activists of Alliance for Justice and Accountability in the United States are sending sanitizers to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

They urge the CEO to 'wash his hands' after meeting PM Modi on the Facebook campus in California on Sunday. They also threaten to send hundreds of hand sanitizers to wash the 'blood' off his hands with a campaign -- "Zuck, wash your hands!

The 'blood' refers to Prime Minister Modi's alleged failure to stop communal riots in 2002 when he was chief minister of Gujarat. Modi was denied visa by the US for his role in the riots that resulted in killing more 1,000 but It was revoked after he was elected the Prime Minister of India.

Ironically, the PM Modi wrote on the real wall at Facebook: "Ahimsa is the greatest Dharma."
