New Delhi: There are so many people who move to different states in search of work and for other reasons. This news is a respite to all the wandering people, labour especially. The ration portability scheme will enable such people to take ration of groceries anywhere they move in the country. They need to have a ration card and that is the only eligibility.
This is being planned as a pilot project initially in some states and later will be expanded to other states. AP, Telangana, Gujarat and Haryana are picked for trial of this scheme. The problems faced in the implementation of the scheme in the four states will be studied and rectified before its adopted on pan India scale.
This is a great idea and if implemented well, many people to get benefited!
