Hyderabad: Another political forum has formed in Telangana State in the name of ‘Bahujana Left Front’ (BLF), an alternative to present political parties. It was formed with 28 political parties, including MCPI, RSP, Forward Block, Telangana Communist Party, Bahujana Front, MBT, Mahajana Samithi and others.
The new front will contest in all the 119 constituencies in the State in the coming general elections. The leaders of the new outfit will be conducting a huge public meeting on January 25 in the State capital. CPM general secretary Seetharam Yechuri, Dr B R Ambedkar’s grandson Prakash Ambedkar and other important leaders would attend the meeting. The organizers chalked out a plan to bring activists from every constituency to the meeting.
They also announced that it will work aiming to achieve social justice and comprehensive development. They announced that CPM State secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram will act as BLF State convener and Nalla Suryaprakasha Rao would act as chairman of the BLF. They also decided to elect new committee on January 25 on the occasion of public meeting to be held in Hyderabad.
On the other hand, the CPI announced that it will form a new political forum very soon. The CPI announced that it will float a new forum opposing the NDA government’s “anti-people” policies in a comprehensive manner with secular and democratic forces and Left parties.
