Hyderabad: TRS chief KCR dissolved the assembly and went ahead for the earlyn elections and returned back in a triumphant manner crushing the entire opposition to become CM of the state.
KCR while taking the decision to dissolve the assembly said he was forced to take the decision as opposition parties were hell bent on stalling the developmental activities of his government.
Many expected CM KCR to speeding the developmental activities. But much to the shock of all it is coming out that there won't be any government in Telangana for the next four months.
KCR is not concentrating on governance and administration and did not even expand his cabinet and instead he is busy undertaking flights across the country. Insiders say KCR is concentrating on other issues as election code is in existence due to Panchayat polls for the next 40 days. Right after the country will go to general elections.
So KCR is unable to take any policy decisions or announce Aasara pensions or honorarium to the youth or even extension of retirement age.
Those close to KCR say that KCR is focusing on other things because of the election code. With the panchayat polls on, the election code is in force and there is pretty much nothing that KCR can do for another 40 days. He cannot implement any scheme or make any big announcement. It is because of this that he is unable to announce Aasara pensions or honorarium to the youth or even extension of retirement age.
Immediately after this, there would be Lok Sabha elections. Again the election code will come into force. Thus, KCR would be busy with strategizing for these elections. So, till May end, do not expect the Telangana government to do anything worth the while. The government will be in sleep mode. KCR will of course be busy planning to win maximum number of seats in both these elections.
