Katti Seenu (Chiranjeevi) a petty thief plans to go to Bangkok after escaping from jail and even readies fake passport. However he gets attracted to beautiful girl Lakshmi (Kajal) and changes his plans.
As he tries to reach out for Lakshmi, he sees a murder attempt on his look alike Shankar (Chiranjeevi). Seenu saves Shankar but his life changes for ever in a shocking manner. To find out the shocking developments watch Khaidi No 150 on screen.
Chiranjeevi who made his comeback after a gap of 9 years never looked as though he is doing so. He attracted with his looks, grace, mannerisms, dialogue delivery, expressions and emotions. He performed dances with the same grace and movements and enacted stunts to delight all his fans and movie lovers.
Chiranjeevi takes everyone along with him to the fantastic journey in his 150th film and he performed with ease carrying the entire film on his shoulders. Chiranjeevi showed his mega power and proved that Boss is Back after a small break!. He entertained with his comedy timing and humor at the start of the film and as the story progressed, attracted with his dances, stunts and serious emotions.
He showed various mannerisms like coin fights and turned romantic with Kajal, hilarious with Brahmanandam, Ali, dangerous with Tarun Arora and other thugs. The way he delivered powerful dialogues in the second half, showing powerful emotions showed his acting prowess.
Kajal attracted with her gorgeous looks and looked stunning in songs. She complimented Chiranjeevi perfectly. Lakshmi Rai sizzled red hot in the song. Tarun Arora is OK as villain while Brahmanandam attracted with his comedy. 30yrs Prudhvi, Posani Krishna Murali, Jaya Prakash Reddy and others performed accordingly.
Devi Sri Prasad's music is routine but is foot tapping. Masses love the foot tapping music. He made powerful impact with background score. Ratnavelu's cinematography is beautiful and captured the scenic locations in overseas.
BGM and Cinematography elevated the scenes. Gowtham Raju's editing could have been better as many scenes are dragged testing the patience of the viewers.
V V Vinayak did not tamper with the original story. However he should have concentrated on his screenplay and direction which did not generate much interest. Production values are grand.
Chiranjeevi's screen presence
Chiranjeevi's dances, stunts, dialogues
Cameo of Ram Charan
V V Vinayak who is known to entertain masses with powerful stories made changes to the original story Katti according to the tastes of mega fans. Movie lovers witnessed similar stories which dealt with the famers suicides, plight of the farmers, corporates which try to take advantage of the farmers along with the politicians.
Mega fans love the film right from the first half with the introduction scene and film sails smoothly in a commercial manner with item song, romance and then turning serious with interval twist. Second half turns serious with hero turning one man army taking on the powerful corporate and politicians to emerge victor.
Film's emotional connect is lost in the mega flavor, but fans and masses will not complain. Film became too sentimental in the second half and ends with routine climax. Vinayak's screenplay and direction is ordinary unlike the way he did Ramana remake as Tagore elevating Chiranjeevi's stardom. Comedy of Brahmanandam though entertained a bit is quite old fashioned.
