Jacket Murali (Vishnu Vishal), a sari blouse designer fall in love with Archana (Nikki Galrani), daughter of hotel owner (Gnanavel) who dreams of becoming a SI. While Archana aspires to get the SI job honestly, Murali takes ten lakhs offered by her dad, promising him SI post for Archana with the help of his brother who is MLA Jacket Janakiram (Robo Shankar).
However things go wrong as his brother Jacket Janakiram suffers accident and loses memory and Archana who gets SI post honestly starts demanding Murali to return back the ten lakhs. Murali will be even bigger shock when rivals kidnap MLA Jacket Janakiram to find out about 500crs treasure. To find out more about it enjoy Prema Leela Pelli Gola on silver screen.
Vishnu Vishal is OK with his performance. However at times he became too loud and at times he lacked expressions suitable for the scenes. Nikki Galrani attracted with her glamour in songs and performed her role well.
Soori attracted with his comedy in parts and same too Robo Shankar. Others performed according to their characters.
C.Satya's music is full of mass beats and attracts them. Dance movements satisfy masses. However songs placement slowed the pace of the film. Background score is OK. Cinematography of Shakti is good.
Editing could have been far better throughout the film. Ezhil could have worked on the script and added some twists and turns. Production values are good.
Comedy scenes in bits and pieces
Soori, Robot Shankar
Lack of twists and turns
Missing chemistry between lead pair
Ezhil came with a routine story which offers nothing new. He deepened mainly on comedy scenes to score a hit. However despite all his efforts he failed with his story, screenplay and direction. Though movie lovers smile more than once in the film, they still feel something is missing in the entire film and that is the soul and the story.
First half passes with in no time and though second half too offers nothing much and goes in the way the first half was, at times repeated scenes tested the patience of the viewers.
Prema Leela Pelli Gola lacks soul to entertain.
