Story

Satyam (Nitin), happy go luck guy enjoys life by telling lies accordingly. He dreams of settling in life by marrying a rich girl. During that time he gets attracted to Chaitra (Megha Akasha) and woos her and succeeds finally.

When love is blossoming between them and the couple are enjoying, Satyam starts experiencing shocking incidents in his life with the entry of Padmanabham (Arjun), resulting in high voltage clashes.

To find out the reason behind the clashes and why Padmanabham is after Satyam, watch LIE on silver screen.

Performance

Nitin attracted in the role as Satyam. He slipped into the role effortlessly and did full justice to the role. He attracted in sentiment scenes and performed stunts quite well. He as usual enacted romantic scenes with ease. Nitin is the highlight in the film and carried the film on his shoulders.

He competed with action hero Arjun who played an important role. Arjun showed his power in stunts and performance. Arjun attracted with his expressions playing mind games with the hero. He along with Nitin performed high voltage stunts to thrill viewers.

Megha Akash got a limited role and little scope to perform. But as a debutante she attracted with her looks, beauty and performance. Others like Sri Ram, Ajay Ravi Kishan, Brahmaji, Prithviraj, Brahmanandam performed accordingly.

Technical

Manisharma's music is average. Two songs attract movie lovers. Other songs turned out to be average. However he elevated the scenes with beautiful background score. Yuvraj beautified the film with his cinematography. Editing however left lot to be desired. There are few scenes in the second half which dragged a lot.

Hanu Raghavapudi should have concentrated on screenplay and made it more interesting. He also failed in his direction. Production values are good.

Analysis

Nitin's range increased with A..Aa. After the success of the film he took his time to select good story. Nitin must have signed the film going by the track record of Hanu Raghavapudi and also due to different storyline.

However Hanu Raghavapudi failed to do full justice to Nitin's confidence. Movie lovers expect commercial elements in Nitin's film. But Hanu failed to include them and even the screenplay is not up to the mark.

Below average and routine climax undid all the hardwork of Nitin.
