Kiran (Aadi) works hard to achieve success as a TV serial director. He derives happiness in his debt filled life with the entry of Smitha (Vaibhavi). Love blossoms between them and Kiran comes to know that his dad purchased a old house many years back.
He starts a hotel by taking debts and renovating the old house. However he gets shock of his life when the people who stay in his hotel gets murdered mysteriously. To unravel the mystery watch Next Nuvve on silver screen.
Aadi came with routine performance just like he did in his previous film. He did not improve on any of his drawbacks. His body language and dialogues did not sync in some scenes. Though he is ok in love scenes,he failed in horror scenes. Over all he came with an average performance.
Vaibhavi did not get much role to perform. However she attracted with her acting. She is ok with her looks. Rashmi turned heat with her hot looks. However she got a very minute role. Brahmaji who played a key role in the film attracted with his comedy timing. He attracted with his comedy in few scenes. Others performed according to their roles.
Sai Karthik's music is average. The less we talk about the songs the better it is. Background score elevated in some horror scenes but in other scenes it is loud.
Director Prabhakar came with a good story line. However he failed with his screenplay and narration. Few scenes in the second half dragged a lot. Production values are good.
Story, Screenplay, Direction
Horror comedy always attracts the attention of movie lovers. Though many films came only few attracted viewers. Unless until the makers are successful in scaring as well as entertaining movie lovers. But if they come with routine comedy and horror scenes, they bite dust at the box office. Prabhakar too failed to take care of entertainment elements. He should have taken more care about comedy scenes.
They resembled routine Jabardasth comedy. He should have worked on the script before going ahead of the project. Brahmaji's comedy and Rashmi's glamour and few horror and comedy scenes turned out to be the highlight in the film.
Next Nuvve turns out to be a routine horror comedy.
