Story

Raghupathy (Jagapathi Babu), an influential person in his village decides to go into exile as his near and dear gets killed by an unknown enemy. He suspects his rival Veerabhadram (Shayaji Shinde) but he finds it's not him.

To fulfill the wish of his wife, he decides to get his daughter Shruti (Rashi Khanna) married and send her off to a far away location where she can live safely. He selects a US groom Krishna Prasad (Gopichand) and though Shruti at first hates him, finally starts loving him. One fine day she decides to speak her heart out to Krishna Prasad but she will be in for a shock. To find out more about it watch Oxygen on screen.

Performance

Gopichand looked stylish in his looks and macho in his mannerisms. He slipped into the role effortlessly. For all his hard work there is nothing new in his role which is worth mentioning. He passed through the motions with ease and tried to attract masses with his performance.

Rashi Khanna and Anu Emmanuel got very limited scope to show their acting talent. Rashi in some scenes attracted with her glamour. Anu Emmanuel did a homely girl next door role. Sakshi Chowdhary sizzled in a special song which went unnoticed and helped viewers for cigarette break.

Jagapathi Babu, Shayaji Shinde, Shaam, Chandra Mohan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Brahmanandam, Abhimanyu Singh acted according to their roles with no real stuff in it. Ali tried to attract with his comedy but failed to generate much interest. Same is the case with Tagubotu Ramesh and Vennela Kishore.

Technical

Yuvan Shankar Raja's music is below average. He tried to attract masses with his beats. Few songs acted as speed breakers. He however attracted with his background score. Chota K Naidu and Vetri's cinematography is attractive.

Editing of SB.Uddhav left lot to be desired as there are many scenes which dragged the narration throughout the film.Action scenes are well choreographed in a stylish manner.

Jothi Krishna should have worked on the story and the script as he looked outdated with the narration. Production values are good.

Analysis

Jothi Krishna who made his debut as director with this film decided to score a hit at the box office elevating the heroism of Gopichand in a powerful mass role with few twists.

However what he thought as his creativity, movie lovers watched them on screen some two decades back and in many more films like NTR's Rabhasa. He forgot that viewers got bored of watching hero making an innocent entry and then showing his powerful flash back in the second half.

He came with a routine, predictable, outdated story and is under the impression by making Gopichand don Army uniform, people's chests will swell with patriotism. Though he attracted with the interval bang and later tried to send message that smoking is injurious to health, his message is lost in the outdated story and narration and dragging sentiment scenes.

He failed to generate interest with his story, screenplay and direction. Infact there is nothing in the story which even the diehard mass movie lovers can get connected to and enjoy on screen leaving aside all the logics.

Final Talk

Outdated concept suffocates Oxygen.
