Story

Mohan Ranga (Nitin) gets attracted to a girl since school days and in oder to meet her gets desperate to go USA despite struggling to clear his degree. Finally he lands in USA after repeated attempts and meets beautiful girl Megha (Megha Akash). Both get attracted to each other but have their own doubts and apprehensions.

To find out where their romantic journey ends, enjoy Chal Mohan Ranga on silver screen.

Performance

Nitin as usual attracted with his performance. He tried to be casual and natural and entertained most of the time. However at times his role is not as elevated as one expected. Nitin attracted with his body language, dialogue delivery and screen presence.

Megha Akash attracted with her looks and she got limited scope to perform.

Nitin along with Rao Ramesh, Satya, Narra Srinu, Prabhas Srinu, Madhunandan attracted with their humour. Naresh and Pragathi attracted as Nitin's parents.

Technical

Thaman attracted with his background music. Couple of his songs are youthful and foot tapping. However songs placement acted as speed breakers. Editing of SR.Sekhar could have been better as there are many drags especially in the second half.

Cinematography of Nataraj Subramanian beautified the film as he captured the scenic locations in an attractive manner. Krishna Chaitanya should have worked on the story and script and included few twists and turns to generate more interest among the viewers. Production values are good.

Analysis

Krishna Chaitanya after making his debut with Rowdy Fellow, this time decided to score a hit with a youthful romantic entertainer. He directed a story penned by wizard of words Trivikram Srinivas. The first half ends on a predictable note with romantic track filled with hilarious scenes in US backdrop before lovers parting ways, thus setting the stage for the second half.

The first half turned out to be an average affair with silly humour and romantic track with lack of real twists and turns. When one expected a better second half, Krishna Chaitanya dragged deviating from the story with silly scenes. Except for the comedy track in the party, nothing attracts in the second half. Climax turns out to be even weaker with viewers looking towards the exit doors.

All the dialogues reminds of Trivikram's earlier films, offering nothing new. Krishna Chaitanya failed with his story, screenplay and direction and completely in his execution. Only performances from Nitin, Rao Ramesh, Megha Akash and others in some scenes saved the film to some extent.

Final Talk

Chal Mohan Ranga is uninspiring routine saga.
