Story

Major Karunakaran (Vishal) has a haunted past and psychiatrist Latha Devi(Samantha) advices to reconcile with his dad (Delhi Ganesh).

To find out more about his haunted past and why he wants to leave the country and his connection with White Devil (Arjun) , enjoy Abhimanyudu on silver screen.

Performance

Vishal attracted with his performance showing different kinds of expressions and emotions. He is a perfect fit with his well toned physique for the role of army officer.

Samantha got limited role to perform and she attracted with her glamour and expressions. Arjun stole the show with his powerful performance and menacing, cool and devilish looks.

Others like Delhi Ganesh performed their roles accordingly

Technical

Yuvan Shankar Raja elevated the scenes with his impactful background music. However his music, except for couple of songs turned out to be average. Songs placement slowed the pace of the narration.

George C Williams with his cinematography captured the natural scenic locations in a beautiful manner. High voltage action scenes are well choreographed while dialogues are impactful and powerful. However editing of Ruben's could have been far better.

There are many scenes that dragged the film completely testing the patience of the movie lovers. Had Mithran ironed out the loose ends and narrated the story without any deviations and drags, the film would have made an even powerful impact.

Analysis

Mithran on debut came with a powerful story and decided to send strong message to the society highlighting the pitfalls in digitalization.

The story, screenplay and direction is attractive and he narrated it in an interesting manner. However he had taken his own time to introduce the characters in the first half and decided to tell the story in the second half after an interesting interval bang.

The second half had few forced glitches and this affected the film's overall output. Had he started the narration without any deviations Abhimanyudu would have made a powerful impression.

Final Talk

Abhimanyudu attracts to some extent highlighting the dangers of digitalization.
