Hyderabad cadre IPS officer Shivaji Rao (Nagarjuna) flies to Mumbai to investigate several incriminating charges against encounter specialist Narayan Pasari. During his investigations, Shivaji Rao finds startling facts and this endangers his life.
To find out who is behind the murderous attacks on Shivaji Rao, watch Officer on silver screen.
Nagarjuna surprises all with his handsome looks and charming personality even at his age. He showed good expressions and emotions and enacted deadly stunts exhibiting good energy. Infact he is the saving grace in the film.
Myra Sareen who made her debut as a lady officer is OK in her role. Actor who played the role of the villain attracted with his performance. Others performed according to their roles.
Rahul Penumatsa cinematography with his weird camera angles shocked all. He failed completely to elevate the scenes. Editing left a lot to be desired especially in the second half where there are many unnecessary scenes. Ravi Shankar's music and BGM is just average.
RGV failed completely to bring back the magic of Shiva after associating with Nagarjuna after 25 years. He despite his technical brilliance failed to add interesting and thrilling elements but instead hoped to thrive on glorifying violence.
First half plot
Story, Screenplay, Direction
RGV and Nagarjuna's combination generated tremendous interest and RGV starts off in a interesting manner. Movie lovers get interested with Nag starting the investigation, but from then on RGV loses plot completely.
The narration drags testing the patience of the viewers with RGV's trade mark perversions. He failed with his story, screenplay and direction and ended up torturing movie lovers once again.
Akkineni fans came true as RGV presented a disaster to Nagarjuna dashing his hopes completely.
Officer gives immense torture.
