A popular chef Vaishnavi (Trisha), along with her assistant Balki (Swaminathan) goes to London. There she falls in love with Sandeep (Jackie Bhagnani).
When everything is going in a happy manner and Vaishnavi and Sandeep enjoying their love life, Vaishnavi starts scaring all and even tries to kill Sandeep. To findout the secret behind Vaishnavi’s behaviour, enjoy Mohini on silver screen.
Trisha performed well in her role. She surprises all showing subtle variations in both the roles as Vaishnavi and Mohini. She came with the right kind of expressions and emotions and her body language is apt. She attracted with her screen presence in the film.
Yogi Babu attracted with few comedy scenes. Other stars who are not known to Telugu movie lovers did according to their roles.
Vivek-Mervin attracted with couple of songs. Background score of Aruldev elevated the scenes. Gurudev’s cinematography took the film to another level. Dinesh Ponraj however failed with his editing, He could have chopped off many scenes that dragged the film.
CG work could have been better in the film. Director Ramana Madhesh should have worked on the script and screenplay to add twists and turns and done away with the routine elements for better result. Production values are good.
Lack of thrills
Director Madhesh tried to score a hit scaring away movie lovers. Though he came with an interesting plot, he failed with his screenplay and direction. The first half drags at a snail’s pace and only after the interval, the real story starts.
Couple of twists generates interest but it quickly disappears with routine climax. Had Madhesh done away with routine elements and included horror elements and entered into the story right from the start, things could have been different.
Mohini fails to scare.
