Story

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in CB-CID, Ranjith Kalidoss (Arjun) solves various high profile cases along with his team, Inspector Joseph (Prasanna) and Inspector Vandana (Varalakshmi Sarathkumar).

Despite his expertise and his happy family life, he loses peace of mind as five criminals roam freely committing series of murders leaving the society at a high risk. This even leads to professional differences with his superiors.

To find out how, Ranjith solves the cases and bring the murders to justice, enjoy Kurukshetram on silver screen.

Performance

Arjun surprises all with his handsome and stylish looks despite his growing age. He looked extremely fit as a police officer. He thrilled all with his action scenes.

Varalakshmi and Prasanna attracted with their performances complimenting with Arjun. Shruti Hariharan acted well as a doting and a caring wife. Others performed according to their roles.

Technical

Navin's music is just average but he elevated the scenes with his background score. Satish Surya could have chopped off many unwanted scenes in the film with his editing. Cinematography of Arvind Krishna beautified the film with his camera work.

Arun Vaidyanathan should have worked on his screenplay and direction as he left many loopholes in the narration. Production values are good.

Analysis

Arun Vaidyanathan came with an interesting story suited for Arjun. The crime thriller starts off on a interesting note and just when everyone gets glued to the screens, he loses touch with the narration coming with many loopholes.

He failed with his screenplay and direction and the slow pace ended up testing the viewers. Illogical narration irritated the viewers and the slow pace with the drags due to songs and comedy ended up disappointing everyone.

The dragged climax with numerous dialogues tested the patience of the viewers. Overall it turned out to be neither here nor there for the makers.

Final Talk

Kurukshetram fails to give kick.
