Story

Sumanth (Nishith) suffers from a sleeping disorder and decides to pursue a night job to stay afloat financially. After watching two stringers filming an accident scene and selling it to a media channel he decides that it will be a perfect job for him. But due to sleeping disorder Sumanth (Nishith) faces severe problems in his love Mahati (Anju Kurian) and his friendship with Anand (Satya).

Sumanth who become a night reporter carries out a bigger criminal act for making the news. Due to the criminal act, his life and relationship with Mahati (Anju Kurian) too are threatened.

How Sumanth (Nishith) overcomes from these problems was to be watched on the silver screen.

Performances

Sumanth has given his best as Nishith. Anju Kurian Mahati (Anju Kurian) who made her Tollywood debut has no scope to perform.

Satya who played the role of Anand has nothing much to do in the film. The comedy part was also not up to the mark.

Technical

Music and background score of Sricharan Pakala was below average. The editing of Garry B.H was good.

Director Anil Srikantam who is a debutant has chosen a good story but failed in mixing crime and love stories together. Mainly The love scenes were not narrated well. In some portions, the film feels dragged. The output may get better if the director kept love scenes crispy.

Production values are good. Drone shots have showcased Vizag in a beautiful manner.

Plus Points

Sumanth performance

Interval bang

Minus Points

Boring love story

Climax

Slow Narration

Analysis

Anil Srikantam who is making debut as a director came with an interesting story but failed to execute it in a proper way. People who watched Night crawler will definitely find similarities in the characterization of Nishith (Sumanth).

Although there were a couple of good twists the love story between lead pair played as a spoil sport in the setup. The director has tested the patience of the audience in some portions of the film.

Final Talk

Idam Jagath a Good concept but failed in Narration.
