Amaravati: The Association for Democratic Reform (ADR released a report on the CM's of India and it included the wealth held by the CMs.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu topped the list of the wealthiest CMs with his assets valued at over Rs 177 crore. The poorest CM being Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar possessing assets valued at just over Rs 26 lakhs.
Naidu has moveable assets worth Rs 134.8 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 42.68 crores. What is interesting is that this is contrasting to declaration by Naidu's son Lokesh who screams his father is the poorest CM.
Second on the list is Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and followed by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. Telengana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao with assets valued at 15.15 crores and Meghalaya CM Mukul Sangma having 14.50 crores worth assets are the fourth and fifth richest CMs, respectively.
