Somu Veerraju at Naidu again!

Amaravati: The debate continues between BJP and TDP about funds allocated to AP in the budget. In a press conference today held in Vijayawada BJP MLC Somu Veerraju fired salvos at TDP government.

The MLC reminded media that Chandrababu Naidu himself told that Centre had allocated more funds to AP and he demanded State to show accounts on how the Central funds were spent and used.

Somu Veerraju also told that Polavaram project had no time constraints, and that it's Centre’s responsibility to provide funds as needed.

He pointed that Union government allocated Rs 1500 crores for Amaravati in addition to Rs 1000 crores by the then Union minister Venkaiah Naidu.

He clarified that Centre is working on Central institutions in the state and pointed out that 16 universities got approved for AP. He added that efforts are underway for special railway zone to Vizag as well. He accused CM for changing his stance on Central funds and reiterated that BJP has been taking extra care of AP state.
