Revanth Reddy elected IHF president
 
Hyderabad: Telangana Telugu Desam party working president and Kodangal MLA Anumula Revanth Reddy has been elected President of Indian Hockey Federation, IHF secretary-general Ashok Mathur announced.

According to a pressnote here on Friday, Revanth Reddy, who has been senior vice-president of IHF, was unanimously elected as president after K V Singh was removed as president due to his poor performance. 

A native of Kondareddipalli under Ongur mandal in Mahbubnagar district, Revanth Reddy was an active sportsman since his school days. He actively participated in Kho Kho, kabaddi, hockey and football. He also participated in district and State level sports competitions during 1982-86. Presently, Revanth Reddy is president of Telangana Hockey Association.
