HC shocks KCR govt on Cong MLAs expulsion

Hyderabad: Telangana CM KCR and TRS government got a huge shock when Hyderabad High Court refused to hear the appeals by the secretaries of the Telangana state legislative assembly and the law department. The two decided to challenge the order of the single judge in setting aside the expulsion of the two congress MLAs from the house treating them as an urgent matter.

The bench questioned the need to take-up the matter on urgent hearing when the appeals are filed with the delay of 61 days. Hearing to the appeal filed by the counsel for the Congress MLA Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy and SA.Sampath Kumar, seeking more time ,the bench posted the hearing to Aug 16.
