Atlanta, Dec 21(Pressnote): Following up onthe promise made to the community during highly successful and a firstof its kind NATS Balala Sambaralu event which attracted close to 200 kids participating in multiple events like chess, music , drawing, elocution, essay writing, quiz… , NATS Atlanta team kicked off the firstof the Life Coaching Workshops, Public Speaking Clinic by Jerry Walker. As the afternoon wrapped up the event at the Fire Station filledwith energetic kids, it completed one of a truly unique event for ourkids.
Everyone we talked with seemed to agree that itwas a success and filled a niche for kids focusing on the intersectionof career skills and life skills.
There were a lot of highlights:
Sri Nagabhirava introduced the event with his highpunch speech. Narender Reddy garu gave his words of wisdom andreiterated how important it is for our kids to have public speaking andsimilar such skills. He talked about how happy he was in seeing such aninnovative program being conducted by NATS and also encouraged the teamto come up with more programs like this. He suggested a forum on politics
and political awareness for the kids.
Jerry Walker made the clinic a very interactiveand presented with a lot of passion. Jerry introduced his alterego Tony Giovalli to keep the attention span of kids. Jerry Walkerlovingly called JD, helped participants to do their personality test andunderstand what their true nature is and what is their potential theycan tap into.
The key takeaway from the event is how itencouraged our kids to go for their goals and dreams and that nothing isimpossible. To see a five year old say that I want to become aPresident and another a
Model, several doctors, CEO's, Sportsmen, artistsand authors. It was heartwarming to see our kids show theirpassion and to know that given the right direction they can definitelyreach their goals.
Later every kid stood fearlessly in front of thecamera and gave their one minute presentation.
The event seemed to have stroked an enormousconnection with the parents who are glad to see their kid participatewith such fun and energy.
Lastly we cannot say thank you enough to all thesponsors, kids and their parents, volunteers, and lastly but not theleast, Jerry Walker.
Thank you Zahdoo Inc for sponsoring this event andwork through the knitty gritty details of the event with such dedication.
We think kids, parents and everyone had fun and,to answer one of the most-asked questions at the event: Yes, there willbe more such workshops focusing on life skills for our kids.
The organizing team includedMurali Sajja, Malathi Nagabhirava , Srinath Nagabhirava, Devanand Kondur,Rajesh Jampala and Srinivas Lavu and young volunteers lead by Sruti Sajja.
