Maryland(US), Feb 6: Rockville American Indian small businesses honor(s) Dr. Rajan Natrajan, first Indian born American to become Maryland’s Deputy Secretary of State for policy and external affairs and Mr. Ike Leggett, Montgomery County Executive.
This event was organized by Persis Indian Grill, one of the upcoming Hyderabadi Indian restaurant(s) with several locations in America. Also, present at the occasion were several other county and state officials and Indian community leaders.
Mr. Ike Leggett emphasized the importance of diversity in the small business arena and applauded the entrepreneurial skills of Indian American community in Montgomery County. Dr. Rajan Natrajan praised the Indian American small businesses for supporting the local economy. Dr. Natrajan during his speech also mentioned that the Biryani (Hyderabad delicacy) he had at Persis Indian Grill reminds him of Hyderabad, India.
