TANA president for rejuvenation of Telugu
  Ongole, Jan 07: Thotakura Prasad, president of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) has called for rejuvenation of Telugu language and culture.

Addressing the World Telugu festival in Ongole of Prakasham district, he said Telugus living abroad should come forward to save the language and culture. He said expecting some one else to do it was wrong. He has also suggested that TV channels should employ only those who speak Telugu impeccably as anchors.

Silicandhra founder Koochibhotla Anand, TANA Board of Trusties chairman and London representative Chalikonda Himavalli, Kuwait Telugu Samiti president Swamy, TANA regional representative K Manjula and Gudipati Venkateswarlu, Editor of Pala Pitta magazine spoke on the occasion.
