Tendulkar likely to go for MRI scan

Brisbane, Feb 20: Sachin Tendulkar is likely to go for a MRI scan after he was hit on the head by a Brett Lee bouncer during the India-Australia match in the tri-series Sunday.

Before being dismissed cheaply, Tendulkar got into an awkward position while negotiating a rising ball that hit his helmet and went up in the air.

Australia made a loud appeal off a catch but umpire Steve Davis thought otherwise. He eventually walked back to the hut after playing an upper cut off Lee, guiding a dolly to third man.

Earlier, Tendulkar was hit on the shin while fielding at the slips and did not take the field thereafter.

Tendulkar has scored 68 in four innings.
