By elections..... almost all parties keen

Hyderabad, Feb 20: Almost all the political parties irrespective of their stand towards the Telangana issue are keen on entering the fray for the by elections of six assembly segments that are slated on March 18. The BJP has announced that it would field candidates in five assembly seats of Telangana  excluding its claim in Nagarkurool.

The fresh stand was announced with a supplementing view wherein the party claimed that it was feeling that the five MLAs have not resigned for Telangana sake. In Nagarkurnool the Nagam Janardhan Reddy resignation was viewed as a decision taken towards the formation of Telangana by the BJP. The CPM on the other hand is trying to woo CPI in the present by polls of Telangana.

It asserted that the stand of that party on telangana would not change but it would support the Communist ally in the by polls. However the CPI has not responded to the olive branch of the CPM in this aspect. The TRS, Congress, TDP are the three parties which have announced their stand on elections hitherto.
